BRUEL & KJAER B&K ELECTRONIC VOLTMETER MODEL 2409 WITH 0.01 VOLT TO 1,000 VOLT FROM 2 HZ TO 200KHZ RANGE. METER CAN BE SET TO VU OR SLOW DAMPING, WITH AVERAGE, PEAK OR RMS READOUT. This meter was calibrated in 1977, then removed from service in early 1978. It has been stored in room temperature since then. It comes with 2 input cables as shown, but without power cord. I no longer have the power cord, nor sufficient equipment to test this meter. It is being sold as is. Bruel & Kjaer is known world wide for building test equipment with high accuracy and durability. This meter was used to calibrate and test complex audio systems. The accuracy of this meter is beyond that of most others, in particular for real time audio work. By using the VU damping, the meter replicates and can calibrate audio VU meters. Because the meter has average, peak and RMS scales, it provides information that usually requires several pieces of gear. The analog scale, with mirror also produces true readings which are difficult to see with digital gear. Meter will be well packed and shipped as soon as I have clear funds. Again, the meter is being sold as is, and as shown.
