Cosmetically this monitor shows a few light signs of wear - nothing too major just a few light scuff marks that look typical of normal use - there is a hairline crack in the handle - this houses the battery compartment so it may be due to the expansion/contraction of the different materials that make-up the battery compartment - this obviously has no affect on operation of the unit. The battery compartment has no signs of corrosion and the contacts and compartment are clean and shiney - the unit obviously operates perfectly. The case is worn - this looks typical of storage and use. There are some sticker remnants on the front near the latches and some writing on one of the corners of the case. THe foild in the base plate is smooth and clean with no signs of damage or exposure to chemicals.
