This is a Canberra Model 2003BTS charge sensitive FET input preamp (ser.no. 1902407) with a Passivated Implanted Planar Silicon (PIPS) charged particle detector no. 7647. The detector has a 33mm diameter window, 45mm o.d. It may be possible that this is a Silicon Surface Barrier (SSB) Detector but the dimensions match Canberra specs for PIPS detectors. The preamp detector input is a male MicroDot SMA connector, female on the detector. This is in good cosmetic condition but sold as-is, untested. It was removed from service in 2005 and was in good working condition at that time. This is a link to the Canberra 2003BT model preamp. No Reserve! This item is guaranteed to be as described.
