This is a homemade HP 4815A probe to BNC female adapter. It is made for a 4815A probe with a diameter of 0.627 inches. The adapter is made of brass pipe which has been reamed out to an inside diameter of 0.628 inches. A specially made 6 flute reamer was used. The threaded hole in the end has been cut to accept type "F" connectors so any type "F" coax adapters can replace the BNC adapter supplied. This auction is for the brass adapter with the BNC to F fitting. The probe in one of the pictures is to illustrate how everything fits together and is not for sale. Measure the diameter of your probe before bidding. If you purchase this and it doesn't fit, you can return the adapter for a refund of your purchase price but the shipping is not refundable.The buyer is responsible for making sure that their probe tip is straight before installing the adapter. This adapter has been installed and tested on my 4815A probe and it fits perfectly.
