Here is a very nice laser diode collimator lens assembly. The picture shows 3, but you are bidding on 1 unit. This is an all glass, 3 element unit which is antireflective (AR) coated for excellent throughput. This is AR coated for visible light, but in testing here it still works better than an uncoated lens for 808nm lasers.Here is the best part. This will fit perfectly in the Aixiz 12 x 30mm laser diode module which is popular for use with high power diodes. Just the thing you need for maximum burning power and a nice clean beam since the high power diodes can actually melt the standard plastic lens!Similar laser diode collimator / focuser lenses from Melles Griot, Thorlabs or Newport cost >$200 each! Here's a chance to pick one up at a hobbyist price. Here is our lens on the left compared to the stock plastic lens in the Aixiz diode module. These are much nicer than the plastic lenses usually found in inexpensive laser diode modules (as shown on the right). Here is an Aixiz 5mw 650nm laser diode module with the stock collimator. and the same module with an upgraded collimator producing 10% more power (less loss in the collimator) Glass lenses produce a higher quality beam as shown on the left compared to a plastic collimator on the right.
