Selling unit because it is now surplus equipment. We bought this used about 5 years ago, replaced vacuum motor and hoses about 3 years ago, have not used for about 1 year. Worked fine last time we used unit. The foot print for the suction cups are adjustable from small area out to the max of about 4'x5' we used it mainly to move and load 4'x8' sheets of acrylic and aluminum. This unit has a eye bolt on the center top that can be attached to a boom hook or a forklifts forks (with your chain). How it works: you place unit on sheet to be lifted plug in cord to 110 outlet turn unit on and press vacuum button, a bell rings until you reach a solid vacuum then stops ringing, this means you can lift sheet and move it where you want too. Keep in mind you are limited how far you move the lifter only by the length of the power cord. I think the lifter originally had a screw rotation on it but did not have when we got it, so we just added a hand cable winch to adjust the unit. A screw one can be added I beleive they sell them at graingers. REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A NEW UNIT, NOT THAT PRETTY BUT HAS WORKED WELL FOR US. WE DID TEST THIS UNIT PRIOR TO PLACING ON PALLET FOR SHIPPING LAST WEEK, IT PULLED A VACUUM AND LIFTED SHEET JUST FINE. THIS UNIT IS SOLD AS IS. A SIMILAR UNIT NEW IS OVER $4000.00 Unit weighs 350lbs as it sits. PALLET SIZE IS 63"LONG X 61"WIDE X 54"TALL we will strap it on a pallet for free so it could go on regular truck line.
