THIS IS A VACUUM PUMP EXHAUST OIL MIST FILTER USED TO REDUCE OR ELIMINATE THE OIL “SMOKE†THAT COMES OUT OF THE EXHAUST PORT OF AN OIL SEALED MECHANICAL VACUUM PUMP, WHICH IS A NORMAL BY-PRODUCT OF ALL OIL SEALED ROTARY VANE VACUUM PUPMS. WITH THE USE OF AN EXHAUST OIL MIST FILTER YOUR WORK AREA WILL STAY CLEANER. MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE AIR YOU BREATH WILL BE CLEANER! Replaceable filter elements for these are available. NOTE: For those with a Welch 1402 or similar belt drive pump with a 1â€-20 threaded exhaust port, we do have a few used stainless steel KF-25 to 1â€-20 adaptors with the necessary centering ring and clamp so this filter may be used on those pumps. However, these items are not free and are not included in the sale price. This filter may be used on pump capacities up to 300 L/min. (10/11 CFM).
